State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Delivers Targeted Services to Support Foreign Trade Enterprises

On May 28, staff from State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power conducted a power usage inspection at Jinhua Guanmei Knitting Co., Ltd., delivering targeted services to support their high-quality development.

“The power company's high-quality service has provided strong support for the stable operation of our production line and helped us resolve related issues, giving us greater peace of mind,” the company representative told the staff. Guanmei Knitting Co., Ltd., established in 2019 and located in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province, has specialized in apparel exports. The company produces 3 million garments annually, mainly exported to countries such as Japan, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

To better meet the power needs of foreign trade enterprises, staff from State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power conducted an in-depth assessment of the company’s operations and carried out a comprehensive power safety inspection. The inspection covered numerous aspects, including the posting of regulations in the power distribution room, the completeness of patrol records, and safety management and grounding protection measures for distribution cabinets, switches, and other electrical equipment in the workshops.

During discussions with the company, the staff gained a detailed understanding of its electricity usage, production scale, development plans, and future power demand forecasts. Based on the company’s actual needs, they developed a customized service plan to ensure reliable and worry-free power use.

Meanwhile, the company actively sought feedback on power services to further improve future efforts. The staff also introduced policies on energy conservation and efficiency and promoted energy efficiency assessment services. Using power big data, they analyzed the company’s peak and off-peak electricity usage patterns and recommended time-of-use pricing policies to help guide staggered production and reduce energy costs.
