Rooted in thousand-year-old mythology and legends, the Erlangshen Cultural Relics Park in Guannan County, Lianyungang City, integrates the ecological beauty of the Yanhe Wetland with historical architecture, offering an immersive experience.
The scenic area is themed around Journey to the West and filial piety cultures, featuring antique-style buildings throughout. The park includes 20 scenic spots such as Zhenjun Hall, Cixiao Pavilion, the Platform for Slaying Dragons, and Wenchang Hall.
On the west side of the park, Cixiao Pavilion stands out as a prominent attraction. The building is solemn and elegant, with frescoes inside that depict stories of filial piety, kindness, and integrity from across Chinese history.
From the third-floor viewing platform of Cixiao Pavilion, visitors can overlook the entire park to the east and enjoy views of Wulongkou to the west.
Looking ahead, the park will continue to explore the rich cultural connotations of Erlangshen, host a variety of engaging events, and attract more tourists to experience the park — building a stronger cultural tourism brand in the process.
