State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company Promotes Electrical Safety Awareness at School Campuses

In an effort to enhance electrical safety awareness and improve self-protection skills among teachers and students, State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company recently visited Fangcheng Experimental Primary School in Nanyang, Henan Province, conducting an “Electrical Safety on Campus” campaign that was both educational and entertaining.

Recognizing the strong curiosity, energetic nature, and limited awareness of electrical hazards among young children, company staff prepared visually appealing safety comics. These materials effectively simplified complex electrical safety concepts, making them accessible and easy to understand, which captured the students’ attention.

During the interactive session, staff members used real-life examples to explain essential electrical safety knowledge, energy-saving tips, the importance of protecting power facilities, and emergency response procedures in the event of electrical accidents. Additionally, they showcased common electrical equipment, explaining their functions and safety precautions, thereby providing the students with a more intuitive and comprehensive understanding of electricity.
