Recently, State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company carried out a power line relocation project along the central section of Xiangyun Avenue in Yuzhou City, Henan Province. The project involved upgrading the 110-kilovolt Xiayu and Xiacheng power lines to improve the urban traffic infrastructure and support ongoing urban development.
In response to the city’s development plan, State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company mobilized a team of technical experts to conduct on-site surveys. During the coordination phase, the company proactively engaged with government and road construction authorities and monitored progress in real time. By optimizing relocation plans and coordinating the work efficiently, the company ensured minimal disruption to the power grid.
Tailoring the construction plan to the power demands of the project, the company flexibly adjusted its approach, steadily advancing efforts such as line relocation and pole reinstallation. Simultaneously, a multi-departmental collaboration—including safety supervision, project management, construction, and disciplinary oversight—conducted multiple joint field inspections to precisely identify on-site risks and implement preventive controls. Through advance analysis of key construction factors and contingency planning, the team developed refined relocation plans with clearly assigned responsibilities, established efficient communication channels, resolved technical challenges dynamically, and strengthened comprehensive safety supervision—collectively accelerating the relocation and reconstruction process.
Looking ahead, State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company remains committed to its corporate social responsibility, actively aligning with the city’s growing power needs and fully supporting local construction projects. The company will continue to improve the planning and layout of the power grid to ensure reliable power supply for the region’s economic and social development.
