On June 11, technicians from the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company visited a dendrobium planting base in Wuliqiao Town, Xixia County, Nanyang City, Henan Province. They carefully investigated the growth environment and conditions of dendrobium, as well as changes in the load of electrical equipment, to guarantee reliable power supply for the planting and production of dendrobium.

This dendrobium planting base primarily engages in the selection, breeding, tissue culture, and processing of dendrobium nobile. It cultivates about 50 mu (approximately 8 acres) of seedlings, generating an annual comprehensive output value of 3 million yuan. Currently, dendrobium is in full bloom. Staff at the planting base are busy harvesting and processing to ensure the quality and medicinal properties of the dendrobium.
"Our dendrobium nobile has very high requirements for temperature, humidity, and ventilation during the seedling stage, and a stable power supply is indispensable," said Zhou Feng, the head of the dendrobium planting base.
To meet the electricity demands of dendrobium production, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company regularly dispatches technicians to conduct comprehensive inspections of power lines and equipment within the base. They patrol and measure the temperature of power supply lines to eliminate potential power hazards. They also actively promote knowledge of safe electricity use to growers, explain safety precautions during electricity use, and guide the planting base to use electricity scientifically and in a standardized manner, thus supporting the healthy, sustained, and stable development of the dendrobium industry.
Going forward, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company will continue to provide high-quality power supply services to ensure the production and planting of enterprises. It will offer a safe and stable power supply to support the growth of the dendrobium industry and contribute to rural revitalization simultaneously.
