On June 28, the 2025 Guizhou Provincial Community Games & "Family Olympics," together with the 5th Guiyang Community Games, officially kicked off at Quanhu Park in Baiyun District, Guiyang City. This launch marks the beginning of a series of warm, healthy, and vibrant mass fitness celebrations to be held successively in communities across counties, cities, and districts throughout Guizhou Province.

In the lush summer setting of Quanhu Park, where green grass flourished, it was the perfect time for outdoor activities. Five hundred families from various communities in Baiyun District gathered here, their faces glowing with anticipation, to join this neighborhood sports carnival. A variety of fun and engaging games were set up, designed to emphasize joy and togetherness. Cheers and laughter echoed across the venue.

This event was an innovative initiative by the Guizhou Provincial Sports Bureau in collaboration with the Guizhou Provincial Women's Federation, aimed at bridging the “last mile” of public fitness participation. It featured activities blending fun and collaboration, allowing residents of all ages and fitness levels to find a platform to participate and enjoy sports together. In addition, over 100 sessions will be organized, with thousands of social sports instructors entering communities to provide comprehensive services such as scientific fitness guidance, physical health assessments, and fitness skills training.
