Numerous art enthusiasts visit the exhibition

On July 1, the Exhibition of Chu Culture-Themed Art Creations, guided by the China National Academy of Painting and the Publicity Department of the Hubei Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, and hosted by the Hubei Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, officially opened at the Art Museum of the China National Academy of Painting in Beijing. At the same time, the Graduation Exhibition of the Chinese Painting Talent Incubation Program of Hubei Province also kicked off.

Liu Yiyuan, Clouds and Sky of Chu Land

The 60 artworks on display, rich in contemporary aesthetics and cultural depth, are centered on Chu culture. These works represent artists' in-depth exploration of cultural symbols including Chu Ci (Songs of Chu), bronze ware, lacquerware, silk, myths, and legends. Using modern artistic techniques, they portray the romance, mystery, and grandeur of Chu culture, highlighting the unique charm and powerful vitality of Chinese culture.

Li Naiwei, Few Return from Ancient Battles

The concurrently opened graduation exhibition is a concentrated presentation of the three-year training achievements of the Chinese Painting Talent Incubation Program in Hubei Province. This program selects young and middle-aged core Chinese painting talents from across the province and invites nationally renowned art masters to deliver systematic training in traditional techniques, field sketching, and theoretical research.

Qin Ling, Wudang Taihe Presents Auspicious Clouds

A total of 110 works by participants are exhibited, covering various themes including landscapes, figures, and flowers and birds. The works showcase diverse styles, reflecting the personalized exploration and artistic growth of young artists based on the inheritance of traditional Chinese painting.
