Since the beginning of 2025, State Grid Gansu Electric Power Company has coordinated development with safety, supply assurance, and energy transition, actively supporting the efficient development and utilization of new energy. The company has provided targeted services for project grid connections, enhanced its service system, and leveraged the role of the power source service center. It has also established a tracking ledger for new energy projects with approved grid connection schemes that have not yet been built, and organized provincial and municipal grid connection service teams to regularly follow up on project progress.

The company has relied on the “e-Connection” one-stop service platform for new energy grid integration and released the “Service Guides for Gansu New Energy (Storage) Dispatching and E-Connection,” which further standardizes grid connection procedures. It has also shortened the review period for grid connection documents to just five to ten working days.

By the end of June 2025, Gansu's total installed power generation capacity reached 109.7648 GW, of which new energy accounted for over 72 GW—representing a 65.64% share—highlighting the growing dominance of new energy in the province’s energy mix.(Text by Peng Jing and Wang Xinyue)
