2025 Liupanshui Marathon Kicks Off

At 7:30 AM on July 20, the 2025 Colorful Guizhou Marathon Super League (Fourth Stop) and the "Chuhao Cili" Liupanshui Marathon kicked off, with 32,000 runners from across China and around the world gathering to enjoy the experience of running a marathon in the cool climate of the "Cool Capital of China".

This year's Liupanshui Marathon, themed "Cool Marathon, Passionate Liupanshui", was organized to high standards and certified as a Class A1 event (the highest domestic level) by the Chinese Athletics Association.

The "Colorful Guizhou Marathon Super League", a newly created IP event launched for the first time in Guizhou this year, will run throughout the year. It aims to integrate culture, tourism, and sports, building a distinctive Guizhou event brand with lasting impact.

As Guizhou’s first summer marathon, the Liupanshui Marathon has been successfully held nine times since 2013. It has grown into a benchmark event with both international influence and local character, earning over 20 core honors across four major categories. It has become a signature event for China’s “Cool Capital” on the national marathon map.
