Nanyang, Henan: One-to-One Services Support Grape Industry Development

Recently, staff from the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company visited the Huixi Grape Cooperative in Yaozhuang Village, Xinglong Town, Sheqi County, Nanyang City, Henan Province. They conducted detailed inspections of power lines and thoroughly examined equipment such as irrigation motors and distribution boxes. The goal was to identify potential hazards and safeguard grape harvesting with reliable power supply.

Yaozhuang Village is known for its grape cultivation. Leveraging its unique natural conditions, the village established the Huixi Grape Cooperative, making grape farming one of the pillar industries of the local agricultural economy.

To ensure a stable power supply for the grape industry, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company organized staff to visit local farmers to understand their electricity needs and gather feedback on power services. They also inspected electrical equipment in grape bases and greenhouses, promptly rectifying any defects or hazards. In addition, they guided farmers on safe and efficient electricity use through face-to-face briefings and the distribution of educational brochures.

In recent years, with the growth of the county’s grape economy, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company has introduced one-to-one service initiatives. These include distributing convenience service cards, creating WeChat support groups, and making proactive visits. Through these efforts, the Company provides tailored power supply services for grape growers, helping related businesses and farmers increase production and income.
