On September 8, State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company conducted inspections of distribution lines near Longtan Road in Jiyuan City, Henan Province. Technicians visited residential compounds, including Tiantan Garden and Jinnuo Feicui City, to assist property managers in checking electrical facilities. They reminded residents to take risk-prevention measures during rainy weather to enhance power supply reliability.

With increasing rainfall elevating electrical safety risks, the company has implemented multiple safeguard measures to ensure household electricity safety.

State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company mobilized professionals to form service support teams, dividing service zones and clarifying responsibilities to carry out proactive on-site inspections of distribution facilities. Using schematic diagrams of residential power distribution systems prepared during grid connection, the teams prioritized inspections of transformers, switching stations, and distribution cabinets. Identified risks—such as loose electrical components or inadequate wire insulation—were listed in a checklist. These findings were promptly communicated to property management personnel, along with corrective measures. The company also provided real-time technical support and quality on-site services to ensure the safety and reliability of power infrastructure.

Meanwhile, State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company, considering facility layouts and frequent autumn rainfall, advised customers to stock up on flood-prevention equipment and strengthen safety precautions.

Recognizing that some residential compounds’ distribution rooms are located underground or in low-lying areas—posing higher safety risks during prolonged rainfall and making routine protection more difficult—the company implemented preemptive upgrades. These included installing watertight doors, flood-control linked fans, and smart check valves. By completing the intelligent renovation of these distribution rooms in advance, the company ensured more reliable power supply for residents.
