The 2025 Promotion Conference on Integrating Education, Science, Technology, and Talent concluded at the Xi'an Pilot International Innovation Talent Exchange Center on September 22. Guided by the Organization Department of the CPC Xi'an Municipal Committee (CPC Xi'an Municipal Committee Talent Office) and co-organized by Xi'an Talent Group, Xi'an Talent Association, and Xi'an Pilot International Innovation Talent Exchange Center, the event welcomed representatives from over 260 provincial, municipal, and district government departments, universities, enterprises, financial institutions, and talent groups outside the province. Participants gathered to explore pathways for integrating education, science, technology, and talent.

According to Jiao Zhenhua, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairperson of Xi'an Talent Group, the group has built five major sectors, such as high-end talent recruitment, over the past three years, creating a full-chain service ecosystem for talent. The "Exchange Season", launched in August, attracted more than 200 companies and over 30 universities, drawing over 10,000 participants both online and offline. This promotional event serves as a platform for showcasing achievements and fostering cooperation.

Five industry leaders shared their insights during the event. Fang Yu, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and former President of Shaanxi Normal University, emphasized the leading role of high-end talent in driving scientific and technological innovation and school-enterprise collaboration. Fan Juntian, Head of the London Station of the Global Talent Liaison Office in the UK, and Tian Baichen, General Manager of Hangzhou Talent Group, provided suggestions based on practical experiences to pool development efforts.

During the event, ten major projects were launched, including the Global Talent Liaison Office Recruitment Network and Xi'an Pilot International Innovation Talent Exchange Center, aimed at strengthening Xi'an’s position as a talent-driven city. The unveiling ceremonies for the Digital Archives Center of Xi'an Talent Group and the Xi'an Talent Assessment Center also took place, along with the awarding of plaques to four global talent liaison offices located in Los Angeles, USA; Osaka, Japan; and Almaty, Kazakhstan. In addition, a letter of appointment as Chief Scientist of Xi'an Talent Museum was conferred on Academician Fang Yu.

At the end of the event, Xi'an Talent Group, in collaboration with nearly 30 organizations, reached cooperation agreements in areas including "talent + finance," "talent + investment," and "talent + cultivation." Concurrently, activities such as Academician Face-to-Face and the AI Talent Assessment Seminar were held. Looking ahead, Xi'an Talent Group will promote the integration of education, science, technology, and talent, support the development of the Xi'an Regional Science and Technology Innovation Center, and build a world-class talent service platform.
