This year's forum features the theme "Science Popularization, Sci-Tech Innovation, and Sci-Tech Talent." Through three main sections—an Opening Ceremony and Main Forum, Parallel Forums, and Concurrent Activities—it builds an important platform for promoting open cooperation in sci-tech innovation and connecting with global and national innovation resources. Project roadshows and matchmaking events were also organized to create precise channels linking innovative projects with capital and talent, helping to bring sci-tech achievements from the laboratory to the marketplace. Public science outreach activities were also held, featuring interactive and hands-on experiences that allowed the public to experience the charm of science and technology up close.

At the opening ceremony, four reports were released: Global Digital Economy Development Index Report 2025, Wuhan Science and Technology Innovation Center Index Report 2025, China Basic Research Competitiveness Report 2025, and Global Corporate Innovation Index 2025.
