Kaifeng, Henan: Reliable Power Safeguards the 43rd Kaifeng Chrysanthemum Cultural Festival

Staff Conduct Special Electricity Safety Inspection

Ahead of the opening of the 43rd Kaifeng Chrysanthemum Cultural Festival, the State Grid Kaifeng Power Supply Company organized staff to carry out special electricity safety inspections and public awareness activities at Wansui Mountain Song Dynasty Martial Arts City, to ensure reliable power supply for the scenic area during peak periods.

Given the large crowds and the dense concentration of sound, lighting, and electric display equipment, staff used professional devices such as infrared thermometers to conduct comprehensive inspections of the scenic area’s distribution rooms, power lines for performance equipment, and electricity facilities used by shops and vendors. They also distributed brochures to scenic area staff and merchants, sharing essential knowledge and techniques for safe and energy-efficient electricity use.

Before the National Day holiday, the State Grid Kaifeng Power Supply Company has already carried out targeted electricity inspections for key users, including transportation hubs, tourist attractions, and EV charging and battery swapping stations. A total of 73 users were inspected, with 69 issues identified and rectified under supervision.

In the next phase, the company will continue to assign dedicated personnel for on-site monitoring and prepare emergency power generation equipment. By ensuring zero faults and zero interruptions, it aims to safeguard the smooth operation of the Chrysanthemum Cultural Festival and boost Kaifeng’s cultural and tourism appeal with reliable power supply.
