On November 6, as autumn deepened, temperatures in Quzhou, Zhejiang gradually fell. To prevent the impact of low temperatures on renewable energy equipment, State Grid Quzhou Power Supply Company dispatched service teams to carry out special inspections at the 110kV Liantang Photovoltaic Power Station. The initiative aims to ensure the station’s stable operation and inject green momentum into the power grid to ensure reliable electricity supply during the winter peak.

Located in Daqiaotou Township, Changshan County, Quzhou City, the Liantang Photovoltaic Power Station lies in the hilly area of western Zhejiang with favorable sunlight conditions. Covering about 2,400 mu of land including barren hills, wasteland, and pond surfaces, the project has a total installed capacity of 100 megawatts. Adopting the model of “block generation, on-site voltage boosting, and centralized grid connection,” it serves as an agrivoltaic demonstration project integrating clean power generation with agricultural production. With an annual output of about 104.4 million kWh, it can save approximately 31,800 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by around 104,100 tons each year, making it a major green energy base in Quzhou.
During the inspection, service personnel traversed the undulating hillsides to conduct thorough checks on the station’s key equipment, focusing on 32 combiner boxes and 8 inverters distributed across the vast site. Equipped with infrared thermometers, they took precise temperature readings at each electrical connection point, ensuring no abnormal heating went unnoticed.
This special inspection is part of State Grid Quzhou Power Supply Company’s proactive efforts to adapt to seasonal changes and support the grid-connected operation of renewable energy power stations. From combiner boxes to inverters, from containerized substations to transmission lines, inspection teams conducted a comprehensive “health check” of the power station with professionalism and precision.
