'My City Neighbors' Invites You to Discover the Urban Nature Beneath Your Windows

Beneath the surface of every city lies a vibrant world of wildlife. From fluttering birds and nocturnal mammals to moss thriving between bricks and the tiny insect kingdoms beneath fallen leaves — all these living beings coexist with us as our unseen neighbors.

Produced by the Shanghai Environmental Protection Publicity and Education Center, the documentary "My City Neighbors" follows Shanghai actor Chen Long, engaged as an observer. Together with biodiversity experts and nature enthusiasts, he ventures into the city's parks, wetlands, and suburban areas, capturing glimpses of the thriving life forms that share our urban home.
