State Grid Jiangxi Electric Power: Empowering “Fishery-Solar Complementation” to Boost Green Development

Recently, at the Taiming “Fishery-Solar Complementation” Photovoltaic Power Base in Fengxin County, Jiangxi, power staff conducted a comprehensive inspection of the photovoltaic equipment. Using professional equipment such as infrared thermal imagers, they performed a “health check” on key components including the photovoltaic-specific transformer, distribution room, grid-connected cables, and wiring terminals to accurately identify potential safety hazards such as overheating.

“Dirt on the photovoltaic panels must be cleaned regularly, especially during dry autumn weather, to improve power generation efficiency,” a staff member reminded the enterprise’s representative. In response to the issues identified, the staff assisted the enterprise in formulating corrective measures on site, promptly eliminating safety hazards to ensure the equipment operates safely and efficiently.

The photovoltaic base has a total installed capacity of 110 MW and adopts an innovative “power generation above, aquaculture below” model. It generates 90 million kWh of electricity annually, saving 29,700 tons of standard coal each year. Through proactive service and targeted support, State Grid Jiangxi Electric Power has provided robust power supply support for the healthy development of Jiangxi Province’s clean energy industry.
