Recently, the Wuhai Data Element Workstation was officially inaugurated in Wuhai City. This marks the establishment of the first data element service workstation in western Inner Mongolia, signifying the further expansion of the integrated data element market in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and ushering in a new phase of market-oriented allocation reform for data elements in Wuhai City.
Data elements are data resources that exist in electronic form, participate in production and operation through computation, and generate value. Alongside traditional elements such as land, labor, capital, and technology, they have become one of the core resources for value creation and development.
Leveraging the national platform and end-to-end service capabilities of the Shenzhen Data Exchange, the workstation will provide Wuhai and surrounding enterprises with services including application planning, data trading, security, compliance, governance, and assetization. It aims to address challenges such as insufficient data resource supply and weak compliance governance, driving the value cycle from data resource utilization to productization, assetization, and capitalization. This initiative will systematically enhance enterprises' participation in the data element market, promote the healthy development of the data element market in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and inject new momentum into economic and social transformation and upgrading.
