Wuhan’s Jiangxia District Builds a New Global Platform for Global AR and AI Industry Cooperation

On January 17, the Rokid Ecosystem Conference and the Spatial Joy 2025 Global AR and AI Developer Competition Finals kicked off in Jiangxia District, Wuhan. Centered on competition events, industry exchange, capital matchmaking, and achievement showcases, the event built a bridge connecting global technological R&D with industrial applications, demonstrating to the world China’s innovative vitality in human–computer interaction and digital interaction and intelligence.

The competition attracted nearly 500 top developer teams from around the world. After three months of intense competition, nearly 100 outstanding entries advanced to the finals in Jiangxia, competing for a prize pool exceeding 2.5 million yuan. The entries covered a wide range of fields, including consumer applications, entertainment, education, cultural tourism, and industry, vividly demonstrating the diverse application prospects of “AR + AI” technology. The venue featured two major exhibition zones dedicated to AR and AI, allowing more than 1,000 attendees to experience the unique appeal of cutting-edge technology firsthand.

At the conference, the “Xiachuang Lingban AI Investment Fund,” with a total size of 1 billion yuan, was officially signed. The fund focuses on the entire artificial intelligence industry chain, with upstream focus on core areas such as new materials and optics, and downstream coverage of technology products and innovative applications. Through capital support, it aims to accelerate technological breakthroughs and the commercialization of technological achievements.
