Xiangyang Power Supply Company mobilized a total of 1,748 emergency repair personnel, achieving full coverage across 102 power supply stations and service centers. The company deployed 130 drones, seven medium-voltage power generation vehicles, and 138 low-voltage power generation vehicles (generators). Additionally, 256 specialized vehicles—including excavators, cranes, and aerial work platforms—were put into service to ensure comprehensive emergency repair capabilities.

To address the risk of line icing, the company established 45 ice observation points and carried out 180 de-icing operations, including 53 drone-based missions, significantly improving efficiency in high-altitude and precipitous areas. At the same time, infrared temperature inspections were conducted on 56 power lines serving key users, with 16 potential hazards identified and promptly eliminated, achieving dynamic risk clearance.

The company also pre-positioned critical materials at mountainous power supply stations prone to icing, including 688 poles and towers, 52.1 kilometers of insulated conductors, and 27 transformers. Heads of relevant departments were stationed on site to oversee operations, ensuring an efficient and orderly emergency response.

To date, the Xiangyang power grid has remained generally stable, with no large-scale power outages caused by the snowstorm. Xiangyang Power Supply Company will continue to strengthen grid monitoring and conduct targeted patrols and maintenance to ensure a reliable power supply and help residents stay warm throughout the winter.
