In the calligraphy experience session, a calligraphy teacher demonstrated techniques for writing Spring Festival couplets, including brushwork, ink control, composition, and layout. South Korean participants actively engaged and created their own couplets. Holding “Qi Writing Brushes”—an intangible cultural heritage of Dongying—participants moved their brushes across the red couplet paper, experiencing the rhythmic charm and artistic allure of Chinese calligraphy stroke by stroke.
