The Jinbao Waterway regulation is one of the key provincial-level projects in Jiangsu Province. Once completed, it will unclog the water transport "bottleneck" between the Liyun Canal and Hongze Lake. While ensuring the water delivery function of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, it will also significantly improve shipping efficiency. A total of 17 river-crossing power lines in the Jinhu area need to be relocated and reconstructed for this waterway regulation project.

In recent days, the State Grid Huai'an Power Supply Company has dismantled and reconstructed four power lines crossing the Qinzhuang section of the Jinbao Waterway: the 10 kV Tangbei, Donghu, and Jinbao lines, as well as a standby line. Eight transmission towers have been erected. The project is scheduled for completion on April 17, ensuring sufficient safety clearance for the waterway regulation of the Qinzhuang section.
