Smart Manufacturing from Hunan, Enriching the World

Around noon, in the production workshop of Hunan Qiangnong Machinery Co., Ltd. located in the Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone, the final rice milling machine was assembled. It is about to be shipped overseas, destined for farmlands in Africa, where it will help local communities process their rice harvest.
This is a typical day at Hunan Qiangnong Machinery, and it serves as a vivid example of how "Made in Hunan" agricultural machinery is making its way into the global market.

In the first 11 months of 2025, Hunan Province's agricultural machinery exports reached 530 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 95.5%. Changsha accounted for over half of this total, with exports amounting to 370 million yuan, making it the leading contributor to Hunan's agricultural machinery exports. "Through years of market development, refinement, and accumulation, our rice milling machines have become a well-known local brand. Our products are very popular in Sri Lanka and Indonesia," said Wang Luhua, founder of Hunan Qiangnong Machinery Co., Ltd.
"With traditional equipment, our machining tolerance was limited to 2 millimeters. Now, by introducing laser cutting equipment, we can achieve a tolerance of 0.2 to 0.3 millimeters — a significant improvement in product quality," Wang Luhua noted.
"Strengthening agriculture through technology, and contributing to the nation through industry" is the corporate philosophy of Hunan Qiangnong Machinery, and it is also the shared pursuit of countless agricultural machinery manufacturers across Hunan.
