The 20th Guizhou Tourism Industry Development Conference Kicks Off in Guiyang

On the evening of March 30, the 20th Guizhou Tourism Industry Development Conference commenced in Guiyang. Under the theme of "Promoting the Integration of Culture, Tourism, and Sports — Embracing a Travel-and-Stay Lifestyle," the conference showcased to the world Guizhou's new products, business formats, and tourism offerings in culture, tourism, and sports, as well as new lifestyles, services, and experiences in travel-and-stay tourism.

The conference adopted a "1+4+N" event structure, consisting of one opening ceremony, four specialized sector events, and multiple supporting cultural, tourism, and sports activities, comprehensively presenting the new appeal of Guizhou's cultural, tourism, and sports sectors. A variety of exciting supporting activities have also been planned, including a study tour of residential tourism products and cultural tourism industry formats in Guiyang, the Guiyang Roadside Concert, the 2026 Guiyang Gui'an Cherry Blossom Half Marathon, and the "Mountain Hero Rally" and GT Auto & Moto Carnival.

During the opening ceremony, the "Huang Xiaoxi" intelligent robot and the themed performance "Huang Xiaoxi, Time for Dinner" made a splendid debut. Four distinguished guests from China and abroad delivered keynote speeches on forward-looking industry perspectives and practical implementation, bringing fresh thinking, new opportunities, and renewed momentum to Guizhou's cultural tourism sector. Guiyang also unveiled the "Cool Guiyang · Top Ten New Scenic Highlights."

At the signing segment, the Guizhou Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism signed cooperation agreements with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the China Tourism Association, the China Association of Performing Arts, and the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. The Guizhou Provincial Sports Bureau signed agreements with the China International Camping Convention, the China Sporting Goods Federation, and the Li-Ning Group.

The conference also held a certification ceremony for Guizhou Culture and Tourism Promotion Ambassadors. Five individuals — singer Zhou Shen, vocalists Gong Linna and Zhang Yingxi, actress Mao Xiaotong, and entrepreneur Pansy Ho — were awarded the title of "Guizhou Culture and Tourism Promotion Ambassador."
