State Grid Hubei ICT Company Wins Gold at 2026 Digital China Innovation Competition

Recently, in the Digital Security track of the 2026 Digital China Innovation Competition, a team from the State Grid Hubei Information and Telecommunication (ICT) Company stood out from hundreds of competing teams to win first place in the cybersecurity category. The company also secured three bronze awards in AI data security and the outstanding case study collection segments.
This year's competition attracted top contenders from sectors such as basic telecommunications operations, internet services, and public data applications. Focusing on practical offensive and defensive scenarios, the "Leading the Way" (Zou Zai Qian Lie) team from the State Grid Hubei ICT Company calmly tackled highly difficult subjects like web security analysis and cryptographic algorithm analysis, ultimately winning the gold award with the highest overall score.

Another team from the company, "Solid Action" (Gan Zai Shi Chu), won a bronze award in the data security team competition, relying on their deep understanding of data security scenarios and comprehensive response capabilities. In the outstanding case study collection segment, two of the company's achievements—"Cybersecurity Effectiveness Validation Based on Large Models" and "A New Generation Active Defense Solution for UAV Intelligent Inspection Systems"—won the bronze award for outstanding cases in network and data security, and the bronze award for outstanding cases in the security of new quality productive forces, respectively.

Moving forward, the company will systematically transform the valuable experience gained from this competition into practical capabilities for cybersecurity monitoring and early warning, vulnerability analysis, offensive and defensive drills, and emergency response. This will provide solid and reliable cybersecurity support for the company's digital transformation and the construction of a new type of power system.
