2026 AIE Special Exhibition Spotlights Robots That Do Real Work

As a warm-up event for the 2026 Global Artificial Intelligence Manufacturing and Electronics Expo (2026 AIE), the special exhibition was held in Shenzhen from September 3 to 6. Visitors encountered AI products that go far beyond chatbots, from robots that provide massages and carry loads of up to 50 kilograms to devices that translate speech in real time.

Deyi Robot displayed an AI physiotherapy robot that uses 3D vision algorithms to map the human body, steering its probe around bone protrusions with what the company said was precise and comfortable pressure. Powered by an in-house model called Deep PT, the robot has reached more than 300 cities in China and been exported to over 30 countries and regions.

Built around self-developed high-torque joint modules and dynamic balancing algorithms, LINXAI Robotics' quadruped robot dog can carry inspection equipment into high-radiation areas of nuclear power plants. A company sales director said this marks a shift for robots from stunt demonstrations toward practical applications.

INMO's third-generation AI smart glasses, INMO GO3, drew crowds of visitors, with live translations displayed directly in the wearer's field of view. Startup JETECH, founded in 2023, also attracted attention with its split-body delivery robots, which have already been deployed by several courier companies.

Behind these products, companies credit the Greater Bay Area's tightly integrated supply chain for enabling rapid mass production. AIoT solution provider Uascent Technology said its MarsGate AIoT full-stack platform has connected more than 20 million smart devices worldwide. EVOC VIN Technology Co., Ltd., which integrates AI capabilities deeply into specialized industry applications, showcased its German Vinsbäh smartwatch, drawing many sports enthusiasts to its booth.

The main 2026 AIE event will be held from December 3 to 5 across Macau and Zhuhai, with more than 1,000 AI companies expected to showcase their products and connect with global buyers.
