Henan Sanmenxia: Power Supply Safeguards Flue-Cured Tobacco Production

On September 15, staff members from State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company visited the electric tobacco curing base in Sucun Township, Lingbao City, to conduct specialized electrical inspections and door-to-door services. As the major tobacco-growing areas across Sanmenxia gradually enter the critical stage of leaf harvesting and curing, the continuous operation of curing equipment places higher demands on power supply reliability and electrical safety.

To ensure the smooth and orderly progress of flue-cured tobacco production, the company seized the early inspection window and launched a citywide special campaign to safeguard electrical safety in tobacco curing barns. Staff carried out full-coverage hazard inspections for all high-voltage and low-voltage tobacco curing users and curing barns within their jurisdiction, while establishing dedicated ledgers for electrical hazards. Problems identified during the inspections were registered one by one, rectified within set deadlines, and managed in a closed loop, effectively eliminating electrical safety risks in flue-cured tobacco production.

Meanwhile, State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company set up dedicated service teams to deliver electrical safety training in the fields, promoting standard operating procedures for curing equipment and daily electrical safety knowledge. It also opened a dedicated emergency repair channel for tobacco curing, implemented a round-the-clock duty mechanism, and allocated sufficient repair personnel and supplies to swiftly handle various electrical faults and ensure a continuous and stable power supply.
