Dongguang, Hebei: Pooling Expertise Across the Plastic Packaging Chain to Expand Opportunities and Drive Industrial Growth

On September 16, the Sixth Cangzhou–Dongguang Plastic Packaging Expo 2026 opened at the Dongguang County Convention and Exhibition Center in Hebei Province. Under the theme “Pooling Expertise Across the Plastic Packaging Chain to Expand Business Opportunities and Embark on a New Journey of Industrial Growth,” the expo brought together more than 200 leading exhibitors from China and abroad. It featured over 500 varieties of distinctive plastic packaging products from Dongguang, along with more than 350 types of smart equipment and environmental protection equipment.

The expo adopted an approach integrating exhibitions with investment promotion to support structural optimization and upgrading in the plastic packaging industry. During the event, an investment promotion conference prompted six non-local exhibitors to register new businesses in Dongguang, giving a strong boost to the local convention and exhibition economy.

As a nationally renowned hub for the plastic packaging industry, Dongguang County has developed a complete, integrated industrial ecosystem, with the industry’s annual output value exceeding 30 billion yuan. Going forward, Dongguang County will further develop plastic packaging as its signature pillar industry and strengthen its reputation as a “China Plastic Packaging Industry Base.” It will leverage professional exhibition platforms to bring together industry resources from across the country, generate fresh momentum for industrial growth, and advance the local plastic packaging industry’s transition toward higher-quality, greener and smarter development.
