State Grid Huai’an Power Supply Company Removes Power Line Hazards to Strengthen Power Supply Reliability

　　Recently, State Grid Huai’an Power Supply Company organized maintenance personnel to carry out maintenance on the 110 kV Paihu 8A19 Line in Lianshui County, Huai’an, further improving the power supply reliability of the line.

　　To address defects such as conductor galloping, loose bolts, and insulator contamination, the maintenance personnel performed tasks including installing interphase spacers, tightening tower bolts, and cleaning insulators. These measures promptly eliminated safety hazards and ensured the reliable operation of the line.

　　At the worksite, after fastening their safety harnesses and completing all required safety preparations, the maintenance personnel steadily climbed the transmission tower to a height of dozens of meters using their hands and feet. Upon reaching the designated work locations, they strictly followed standardized procedures. In close coordination with personnel on the ground, they precisely performed tasks including installing interphase spacers, tightening bolts, and cleaning insulators.

　　Upon completion of the maintenance work, the overall operating condition of the 110 kV Paihu 8A19 Line will be significantly improved. The line’s ability to withstand severe weather conditions such as strong winds will be further enhanced, effectively reducing the risk of faults caused by conductor galloping and insulator pollution flashovers.
