Reliable Power Keeps Exports on Track

A freight train carrying 290 BYD new energy vehicles (NEVs) recently departed from Dongxiang Railway Station in Fuzhou, Jiangxi Province. Manufactured locally, the vehicles, including Dolphin and Qin L models, will be transferred to an ocean-going cargo vessel at Taicang Port in Jiangsu Province and reach the Port of Felixstowe in the United Kingdom in 20 days. The new rail–sea intermodal route from central Jiangxi cuts overall logistics costs by 30 percent compared with road transport, opening up a low-cost, reliable international logistics corridor for manufacturers in inland provinces.
