Nanyang, Henan: Targeted Power Inspections and Follow-up Visits Warmly Support Cultural Tourism Economy

On October 11, the 2026 Autumn Cultural Tourism Promotion and E-commerce for Agriculture Event, themed "Enjoy Autumn Scenery, Taste Fruit Fragrance in Xichuan", kicked off in Zhanghe Village, Jiuzhong Town, Xichuan County, Nanyang. Boosted by premium autumn picking routes, Nanyang's cultural tourism market remains buoyant. Rural homestays and reservoir scenic spots are seeing high visitor volumes.

Power equipment at cultural tourism venues ran under sustained heavy loads during the National Day holiday, leading to more potential hazards. In response, State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company rolled out targeted measures and carried out thorough post-holiday special safety power inspections and follow-up visits to guarantee steady and sound growth of the cultural tourism industry with reliable power supply. The company quickly mobilized operation and maintenance teams to conduct full-coverage safety checks at key cultural tourism sites across the city.

At Star-Moon Homestay in Xianfeng Village, Laocheng Town, Xichuan County, staff used professional testing equipment to carefully inspect power distribution lines, switchgear, residual current protectors and indoor electrical facilities, identifying latent hazards. They proactively shared practical tips with operators on safe electricity use in autumn and winter, routine equipment maintenance, energy conservation and consumption reduction. These efforts help businesses improve electricity safety management and prevent electrical accidents at the source.

In recent years, State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company has continued to optimize the power business environment. Closely tracking power demand from cultural tourism, agriculture and specialty industries, it conducts regular special inspections and consistently improves power supply capacity and service quality and efficiency. With stable, reliable, high-quality and efficient power services, the company keeps empowering the upgrading of Nanyang's cultural tourism industry and contributing to high-quality local economic development.
