Event Scene
At seven o'clock, the starting gun sounded, sending over 10,000 runners surging off the starting line. Continuing with the theme "Can You Go Faster?", this year's half-marathon featured a 21.0975-kilometer course passing landmarks such as Tongjun Mountain, the Tonglu Urban Planning Exhibition Center, and a waterfront view platform. With an elevation gain of just 20 meters, the course offered wide-open views and a flat, smooth running surface.

After fierce competition, Wang Peilin, wearing bib No. A10001, won the men's race in 1:07:06, while Tang Xiaofang, wearing bib No. A00002, claimed the women's title with a time of 1:13:37, setting a new women's event record.

To enhance the race experience and boost tourism spending, Tonglu rolled out a special package of tourism perks for runners and their accompanying family members. By presenting their race bibs, they could enjoy special discounts at major scenic spots including Yaolin Wonderland, Yan Ziling Fishing Platform and Tongjun Mountain, as well as at participating hotels, local restaurants and shops selling local specialties and souvenirs.
