Chaozhou: Ceramics Fuel a Major Industry

On October 30, the "Guangdong Goods Go Global" Ceramics & Sanitary Ware Matchmaking Event kicked off in Chaozhou, alongside the opening of the 2026 Chaozhou Ceramics Industrial Base Expo. Covering an exhibition area of over 10,000 square meters, the expo features more than 500 booths and brings together over 200 enterprises. Smart sanitary ware and age-friendly products stand out as highlights. Elderly care institutions put forward their demands on-site while manufacturers showcase their offerings. The programme also included recruitment sessions and business matchmaking events with overseas buyers.

Chaozhou ranks first nationwide in both output and export volume of sanitary ceramics, with an annual output of over 6.38 million smart toilets. Attendees can view exhibits and inspect factories, with business deals negotiated on the spot, helping Guangdong’s ceramics and sanitary ware products sell well across China and reach global markets.
