Ukrainian Tourism Expert: the Opening Ceremony of the 17th Wuhan International Tourism Festival, 2018 is Even Comparable to the Olympics

In the evening of Sep15^th, the Opening Ceremony of the 17th Wuhan International Tourism Festival, 2018 was held at the Zhiyinhao dock, and it’s a pleasure to be present as one of the guests of the “Tourism experts” from five states and ten countries, which provided me with all the travelling culture and ecological environment in Wuhan. I especially appreciate the concern and professional attitude of the staffs, as they paid attention to the participants’ dietary habits and airport pick-up.

The multi-dimension experience play has left deep impression to me, the brilliant performance and splendid scene of which are even comparable to the opening ceremony of the Olympics.

The most amazing part of the play lies in its theater, a cruise ship, used as a performance stage cruising in the river. The atmosphere of the 1930s, which was made up of small details like decorations, costumes, tools and furniture, almost made visitors believe that the time machine does exist, since the perfect performance brought us back to the old Wuhan of 100 years ago.

During the cruise, we also enjoyed a view of the skyscrapers and the beautiful neon lights on both sides of the Yangtze River.

With the unity and cooperation of the staff, the preparation for the 17th Wuhan International Tourism Festival, 2018 was of high efficiency. Also, the staff of Wuhan Municipal Committee of Tourism Development showed their wisdom, foresight, and confidence for the local culture. I’m sure that the cooperation between China and Ukraine in the fields of tourism and culture will reach a new stage.
