" Alfons Mucha：The Pioneer of Art Nouveau " Special Exhibition is Held at China Three Gorges Museum in Chongqing

On April 23, " Mucha: Pioneer of European Art Nouveau Movement " special exhibition was officially launched in China Three Gorges Museum in Chongqing. The exhibition, which runs until July 21, features 244 works by Alphonse Maria Mucha (1860-1939), a Czech national treasure.

As the designer of the first Czech stamps and banknotes, Mucha devoted his life to the concept of "living art". The exhibition is organized to show the artistic style of Mucha's works combined with simple contour lines and soft and bright watercolors by his life changes and art development trajectory, from color lithographs, oil paintings, posters, design manuscripts, photographic works, as well as clothing, jewelry, ceramics and furniture and other fields.
