Chongqing Yuzhong promoting the big data intelligence multi-field application service

2019 is the first year when Yuzhong District, one of the nine districts of Chongqing, China, has implemented the big data intelligence construction. Jiang Xuerong, Director of Yuzhong District Big Data Application & Development Bureau said that led by big data intelligence construction, in 2019, Yuzhong would combine big data technology with traditional economy, in order to serve citizens' livelihood in a better way.

It is known that Yuzhong will implement ‘Digital Yuzhong’ cloud platform construction. The cloud platform will converge data from all the departments, which will achieve data sharing among different systems. Yuzhong will promote the application of big data intelligence including of major projects implementation such as intelligent government and intelligent security, and accelerate the construction of ‘city of culture, commerce and tourism’ 5G fusion application highland.

In addition, Yuzhong will deepen integration of big data, AI, and real economy. By attracting investment and optimising industrial service, the local government aims to build Yuzhong into digital economy cluster, develop big data into the key informational industry, and make breakthrough in the deep integration of big data and real economy. Ten growing enterprises in the field of AI, big data application, and digital content will be brought to Yuzhong this year.

According to Jiang Xuerong, Yuzhong now has over 100 big data intelligent enterprises. The goal of Yuzhong this year is to increase the income of enterprises above designated size by 30%, and increase the industry scale to 24 billion RMB.
