Equestrian Jumping Venue Test Event of the 7th CISM World Games Kicked off in Wuhan

On May 11th , Equestrian Jumping venue test event of the 7th CISM World Games and 2019 China Equestrian Jumping Champions Cup kicked off at the horse riding sports park in Wuhan Business University, Hubei province.

Over 100 riders from 17 teams gathered and competed in Wuhan. Many of the riders were top-class athletes including Huang Zuping who played in Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics, Hadatie, a Grade-1 rider of Chinese Equestrian Association, some riders from Belgium and Italy. And the youngest one is only 11 years old.

In the two-day test event, the athletes have competed for four gold medals respectively for 0.90-meter, 1.20-meter, 1.30-meter and 1.50-meter individuals. In these competition, Galatu Jiri was the champion in 1.50-meter; Liang Yini took first place in 1.30-meter; Deng Jun won the champion in 1.20-meter and Chen Yuchen ranked the top in 0.90-meter.

It is said that the 7th CISM World Games will be held in Wuhan from October 18th to 27th, 2019. The test event would gather many valuable experience for the World Games. Relevant workers will do some adjustment on the Venue and horse training plans based on the test event, so as to ensuring that athletes will be able to fully show their abilities in the 7th CISM World Games.
