Domestic and overseas experts visited Mt. Turtle in Huanggang Dabieshan Geo-park

On the morning of May 11, the launch event of Huanggang Dabieshan Geo-park kicked off in Longtan Valley, Yingshan county, Huanggang of Hubei Province. Later in the afternoon, over 70 domestic and overseas experts took a field visit to Mt. Turtle in Huanggang Dabieshan Geo-park.

Covering an area of 140.86 square kilometers, Mt. Turtle Park consists of Mt. Turtle scenic area and Mt. Jiulong scenic area. The experts analyzed geological landscape of Mt. Turtle Park in the national geo-park. They were deeply impressed by the original phytocoenosis of those Rhododendron in Mt. Turtle Park and couldn't help taking photos.

It is known that the original phytocoenosis of phytocoenosis in Mt. Turtle Park has the largest in size, the most centralized in distribution, the best preservation with the oldest age and the most beautiful plant type. Their growth cycles are over million years and the trees presented here are beyond million years. The azalea field covers an area of more than 100,000 acres.
