The World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF) will hold the World Conference on Tourism Cooperation and Development during the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) in September, 2020. In the context of COVID-19, the conference will invite authorities on tourism across the world and industry professionals alike to discuss the way to recovery and revitalization. During the conference, two forums will be held, centered on the two themes: “Tourism as a Catalyst for the Revitalization of the World Economy” and “New Normal of Tourism amid COVID-19”. Participants will seek strategies to boost tourism independently and collectively, with the purpose of restore the overall economy. In addition, they will discuss the products and service innovation of tourism companies prompted by the pandemic, research and determine methods for destinations and respective companies to strengthen their capability against risks, and adjust core competence to the new normal of the industry.

Guests will conduct in-depth discussions on the topics mentioned.
Through the international platform provided by the conference, WTCF aims to build confidence for the growth of tourism, seize opportunities from epidemic prevention, control, and tourism in an attempt to upgrade the industry, help member units to recover from the outbreak, and revive global tourism as soon as possible.
