The Chengdu-Chongqing Triathlon Open Held in Jintang County, Chengdu City

On October 17, the 2021 China·Jintang Cheng-Chongqing Triathlon Open held at the International Triathlon Base in Jintang County, Chengdu City.

Nearly 30 athletes participated in the elite group competition, including two local athletes from Jintang County.

In addition, Chengdu-Chongqing Kid’s Invitational Tournament and Chengdu Youth Triathlon Championship are specially set up in this event. The athletes are from Sichuan, Chongqing, Ningxia, Shandong and other places of China.

At the opening ceremony, the China Triathlon Association awarded Jintang the medal of "China Triathlon Development Demonstration County". It will jointly build the China Triathlon Youth Training Center with Jintang, opening a new journey for Jintang Triathlon.

2021 marks the 10th year that the triathlon has settled in Jintang County. In the past 10 years, Jintang County has held one Triathlon Open, two International Triathlons, and six Triathlon World Cups. Triathlon has become a symbol of Jintang's city image in the world.
