Yichun, Jiangxi Province: Clean Energy Consumption for a Beautiful Countryside

Hot weather has persisted in Jiangxi since the beginning of this summer, wrapping many parts of the province in intense heat. Thanks to favorable natural conditions and ecological resources, Mingyue Mountain in Yichun, Jiangxi Province has been well-placed to develop its summer resorts and ecotourism to benefit from the hot weather. The State Grid Yichun Power Supply Company has been actively promoting clean energy consumption to contribute to rural revitalization.

"Since the grid upgrading, voltage stability has been improved and we have enjoyed a more reliable access to power," said Zhou Zisong, a villager of Shuikou Village, Wentang Town, who has been running a B&B in Mingyue Mountain for five years. Nearly 40 new B&Bs have been established in the village since the beginning of 2022, and the total number of B&Bs in Mingyue Mountain now stands at 260.
