Electricity Illuminating Old Town Tourism in Lichuan County

Lichuan County is a county in the east of Fuzhou city, Jiangxi province, with the Litan River rising in Mount Wuyim flowing through. As evening sets in, a breathtaking night view mixed with ancient music and burbling running water reveals, glittering lights, and antique buildings along the banks of the river with a grandeur ancient bridge flying over.

In the early stage of the Old Town Illuminating Project, State Grid Lichuan Power Supply Company actively communicated with relevant departments of Lichuan county many times to learn about the load of the Old Town. And it sent personnel to conduct the onsite investigation and formulated a scientific power connection plan, ensuring all the power lines are buried underground, and the power supply is efficient so that the view of the Old Town can glow at night.

Liu Yiqiang, an owner of a restaurant in the Old Town, said that "the Old Town is being better and it attracts a large number of tourists. So our business here is getting better too." (By Ding Huan and Wu Shan)
