Jinjiang District of Chengdu Awarded "Tianfu FamousTourism County"

Recently, the 2022 Sichuan Provincial Culture and Tourism Development Conference was held, and Jinjiang District of Chengdu was awarded the "Tianfu Famous Tourism County".

As the center of Chengdu for more than two thousand years, Jinjiang District has profound cultural deposits and rich tourism resources. Jinjiang District has 53 high-level cultural and tourism brands such as Sansheng Flower Village, a national 4A scenic spot, and Chunxi Road, a national tourism and leisure block, presenting a variety of new tourism scenes that can be perceived, experienced, consumed and interactive for citizens and tourists.

In 2021, the total retail sales of consumer goods in Jinjiang District of Chengdu reached CNY 132.43 billion, ranking first in Sichuan Province for 18 consecutive years. The district received 25 million tourists in 2021, reaching more than 10 million tourists for 10 consecutive years, and its total tourism revenue was CNY 26.5 billion, ranking at the top in Sichuan Province. There are 24 high-end boutique hotels, ranking first in the number and scale of high-end hotels in Sichuan Province. The turnover of tourism accommodation industry is CNY 2.07 billion, ranking first in Sichuan Province.
