Wufeng Town, Jintang County, Chengdu Selected into the Second Batch of Famous Tianfu Tourism Towns

Recently, General Office of the People's Government of Sichuan Province released the list of the fourth batch of candidate counties (cities and districts) and the second batch of famous towns and villages for Tianfu tourism in Sichuan Province. Among them, Wufeng Town, Jintang County, Chengdu was selected into the second batch of famous Tianfu tourist towns.

Wufeng Town, located in the south of Jintang County, was an important commercial road connecting Chengdu with Chongqing in the old days. Its geographical conditions are superior, and it is composed of five main streets, namely Jinfeng, Qingfeng, Xiaofeng, Baifeng and Yufeng.

"Half Mountain, Half River and Half City" is a unique beauty of Wufeng Town. When walking into the scenic spot, Palace of Guansheng, Palace of Nanhua, Liuxi Flower Stream, Huangshui River Bay and other landscape gardens create a classical artistic conception, and the ancient mountain town, theme night tour and other characteristic projects add a bit of popularity here.

In recent years, Wufeng Town has successfully held mountain marathon event, red grape picking festival, intangible cultural heritage festival and other activities in Jintang County, Longquan Mountain Urban Forest Park for eight consecutive years by continuously stimulating the vitality of tourism and carrying out characteristic competition activities, assisted in hosting two sessions of China Youth Philosophy Forum, held rural tourism, shopping festival and other festival activities, further enhancing the popularity and reputation of Wufeng town.
