The Xixi Lake Wetland Park's natural and graceful ecological environment serves as an ideal habitat for migratory birds to breed. The park witnesses over 100 varieties of rare birds annually such as oriental storks, grey herons, ruddy shelducks, and mallards to inhabit the wetland park. As the weather becomes warmer, tens of thousands of migratory birds embark on their journey northward, signaling the wetland parks revival after a long winter and the commencement of an excellent birdwatching season in the area.
