On April 19, the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games entered the 100-day countdown. Recently, the event called ‘Seeing Chengdu from Foreigners' Eyes - Silk Road Youths Invite You to Explore the World University Games Together’ was held in Chengdu. During the event, five “Silk Road Youths” from France, Germany, Rwanda, Mauritius and South Africa formed a group of folklore collectors and walked into the venue of the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games - Xindu Xiangcheng Sports Centre.

Xindu Xiangcheng Sports Centre is the competition venue and basketball training venue for the women's water polo preliminaries of the 2021 Chengdu FISU World University Games. Looking from a distance, the entire venue looks like a lotus leaf in the water, with a unique and graceful shape, and at the same time integrates the lotus fragrance culture of Xindu into the architecture.

“The appearance of this sports centre is like a very aesthetic work of art.” Rosine from Rwanda praised.
“What impressed me deeply is that the ground outside the venue can recycle the natural rainwater and recycle it, and the wall materials used can play the role of lighting and cooling at the same time.” Rui Ting from Mauritius couldn't help giving a thumbs-up, saying “This design is great. While the professionalism of the sports venue is guaranteed, it incorporates the concept of green and low carbon, and can call on more people to participate in the ranks of ecological protection.”
