Diplomats in China Visit Xianyang High-tech Zone to Explore Cooperation Potential for Global Development Initiative

On June 8, diplomats in China hailing from countries such as Madagascar, Albania, Morocco, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, Iran, Lesotho, Namibia, Bangladesh, Kenya, and the Bahamas visited Xianyang High-tech Zone. The purpose of their visit was to explore the potential for enhancing the Global Development Initiative and promoting international development and cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.

Xianyang High-tech Zone, serving as a crucial hub for industrial growth, boasts four major leading sectors. These include electronic displays, high-end equipment manufacturing, biomedicine, and new synthetic materials. Diplomats in China paid a visit to TPV Technology (Xianyang) Co., Ltd., Xianyang CaiHong Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., Yoogo, and Shaanxi Xianyang Dukepu Garment Co., Ltd.

Robinson Richard Jean Louis, Ambassador of the Republic of Madagascar to China said that the high-tech industry in Xianyang boasts competitive brands and partners, which may help the region embrace a better future.

Mohammad Masoud Sadeghi, Counselor for Cultural Affairs of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to China shared his optimism about the post-epidemic era and the potential to revive the cultural industry. Xianyang High-tech Zone has emerged as an ideal region for cultural industry recovery, offering abundant opportunities for the future growth of the cultural industry.

Sidi Mohammed El Bakkari, Minister of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco to China, expressed his optimism about the potential for fruitful cooperation between Morocco and Xianyang High-tech Zone. Kanahalage Deepani Nalika Kodikara, Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to China expressed her country's interest in partnering with Xianyang High-tech Zone in the IT and LCD industries.
