World's Longest Autonomous Rail Rapid Transit(ART) Line Opens in Yibin

The world's longest Autonomous Rail Rapid Transit(ART) line is now open in Yibin. The Yibin ART line T4 has a total length of 46.69 kilometers, and the section currently open for service is the T4 main line, 29.71 kilometers long and designed for a speed of 70 kilometers per hour. The Yibin ART line T1 has already opened, while the line T2 is currently under construction and the line T3 is being planned. The overall pattern of Yibin as a "Demonstration City of ART" is taking shape.

The ART, also known as the "virtual track tram" is a road vehicle that travels along a virtual track drawn on the ground.
