On October 18, the 2026 Robot Warrior Challenge (Fall Competition) was held on the east side of the waterfront square in Nanhaizi Park in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town), drawing 29 teams from across China, including both corporate teams and teams from secondary schools and universities. As an independent competition launched by Beijing E-Town, the event is designed to move robots from performances and demonstrations toward real-world operations. MirrorMe Technology, GENISOM's Milk Long Team B, XYDL's Team A, and AK Brothers Team B won their respective group titles.

Centered on three real-world scenarios—emergency rescue, industrial inspection, and urban operations and maintenance—this year's competition featured 14 challenges to fully test robots' practical capabilities in complex environments, covering areas such as motion control, autonomous navigation, endurance and heat dissipation, environmental adaptability, and system reliability.
Highly realistic emergency-response tasks were added, such as disposal of hazardous materials and explosives, and navigation through complex rubble, with a stronger focus on assessing robots' capabilities concerning environmental perception, autonomous decision-making, and on-site operations. The grouping was made based on control methods and robot types. The challenges include general obstacle courses, as well as dedicated challenges for humanoid robots and for quadruped and wheeled quadruped robots.
