Le'an Bamboo Shoots Go Global, Power Fuels Prosperity

The Second FAO "From Quality Seeds to Fine Food" Global Exhibition and the World Food Forum recently opened in Rome, Italy. Le'an bamboo shoots, among the first batch of geographical indication products mutually recognized by China and the EU, once again represented Jiangxi on the international stage, showcasing to the world the achievements of specialty agriculture in eastern Jiangxi.

At the inaugural exhibition, Le'an bamboo shoots successfully opened up the European market, entering major Italian supermarkets and catering channels and gaining recognition in overseas markets. At this year's exhibition, participants actively engaged with global buyers, further widening the trade channels for agricultural products between China and the EU and bringing Le'an's specialty farm produce to the world.

Specialty industries are thriving, backed by solid power supply. Since the 14th Five-Year Plan period began, State Grid Le'an County Power Supply Company has accelerated grid upgrading, advancing main grid construction, hazard remediation and digital transformation. It assisted in building the 220 kV Shanguan and 110 kV Zhaoxie substations, commissioned several 35 kV lines and the Daifang simplified substation, and achieved full coverage of automatic backup power switching at 35 kV substations across the county, upgrading the Le'an grid from a weak single-source network to a strong dual-source one.

Jiangxi Guangya Food Co., Ltd. is a leading bamboo shoot processor in Le'an, with production and sales built around local bamboo shoot resources.
